Services

Ockham Wealth Advisors provides investment services in varying capacity to meet the needs of individuals, trusts, and non-profit organizations. Our investment decisions are based on a time tested research methodology utilized by Ockham Research, LLC. This methodology attempts to identify undervalued securities using the techniques based on the ideas first espoused by Benjamin Graham.
Along with the teachings of Graham, Ockham Research employes the principal of Ockham's Razor that states, "Entities should not be multiplied beyond necesity."  Ockham’s Razor promotes the idea of cutting away what is unnecessary or redundant.  If you take away extraneous elements, there are fewer impediments to comprehension.   Our concept is to take what appears complex and simplify it into something much clearer and thus more useful.  In the case of financial markets, copious amounts of financial data are available and widely used, but we have concentrated all of that information into a few key measures for valuing securities.
Here is an overview of our service offerings:
We have professionally certified money managers with experience handling individual accounts. The investment professional will meet with the client to ascertain the individual’s goals and needs, as well as an investment policy. The manager will use this policy as the basis for how he or she will manage the client’s money.  The manager will be accessible to the client, and will not shy away from discussing investment decisions.
This service will be available to individuals, trusts, pension funds, and non-profit organizations. The fee will be based on a percentage of assets and will never be based on commission, so as to align our incentives with those of the client.
Also, for those that wish to take advantage of this value investing methodology but possibly do not have the assets to require individual account management, we will soon be offering a family of mutual funds. More information will follow as it becomes available.
